He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollen W. Swisher and Fern B. Swisher (Welch); his wife Laura; and his sons-in-law, Matthew Ragan and Scott Woodring.
He is survived by: his children, Lueanne Ragan, Cheryl Woodring, Gary Swisher (Kim) and Dyan Ricker (Patrick); and his sisters, Donna Hubler (Richard) and Bonnie Pace. He is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Homes - Miller Road Chapel (8138 Miller Rd, Swartz Creek, MI 48473). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
