She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Burl Boyd; her daughter Kay Jordan; her parents, John Scobey and Viola Scobey; and her granddaughter Kim Brohn.
She is survived by: her daughter Rita Ignace; and her grandchildren, Sherry (Greg Putney), Sue (Gary Baade), Jennifer (Mike Allen), Beth (Scott James), Stillman (Susi Jordan) and Michael (Amy Ignace). She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; 39 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Swartz Funeral Home (1225 W Hill Rd, Flint, MI 48507). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
