He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel H. Chambers and Zella F. Chambers (LaBar); his wife Rose Chambers; his daughter Rosemary Antoine; and his siblings, Vera, Kenneth, Hazel, Rae, Jerald, Edith, Wilford, Phyllis, Milton, Dewayne and Clinton.
He is survived by: his children, Jack C. Chambers (Linda), James G. Chambers (Audrey) and Joseph S. Chambers, Sr.; his grandchildren, Clayton J. Chambers, Anita K. Melberg (Carl), Andrew S. Riutta, Lynette Kempf (Gregory), Deanna M. Chambers, Brianna L. Chambers, Joseph Chambers Jr (Becky), Jacob K. Chambers and Desmond Berry (Anita); and his great grandchildren, Jessica, Jordan, Christopher, Alexander, Issabella, Brenna, Kara, Kyle, Rose, Kallie, Jayce, Alexis, Jacob, Josh, Leilah, Joey, Angelica, Brandon, Kristen and Kaleb.
