He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford LaCross and Matilda LaCross (Mentier); his daughter Patricia Joy Porritt; and his brother Joseph W. LaCross. He is survived by: his children, Jody LaCross (Raz) and Jeffrey LaCross (Lisa); his sister Beverly LaCross; his sister-in-law Cassandra LaCross; his son-in-law Greg Porritt; his grandchildren, Nathan Porritt (Tori), Lindsey Porritt Matro, Nicholas Porritt, Logan LaCross (Kayla), Alexandra LaCross, Jennifer LaCross and Karrigan LaCross; and his great grandchildren, Madison Matro and Emmett Porritt.
