Donald J. Jansma Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald J. Jansma of Suttons Bay, Michigan, who passed away on February 27, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Jansma and Dorothy Jansma (Welshermer); his brothers, Dennis and Jerry Jansma; and his sister-in-law Nancy Alsover.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Jansma (Essink); his daughter Christine Jansma (Mike Campau); his siblings-in-law, Joan Neuman (Doug) and Bill Alsover; his siblings, Sandy Vitunskas, Cora Harrison (Ron), Kenny Jansma (Janet) and Hank Jansma (Chris); and his grandson James Campau. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM and from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (303 Pearl St, Leland, MI 49654).
