She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlton Olney and Dorothy Effa Stevens (Bigger); her husband Ernest Frank Jakielek (Ernie) of Detroit; and her siblings, Carmen Johnston-Bonebreak, Carol Haines-Sheets, Marylea Crandall-Hansen, Ronald and Donald Stevens.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Davis (Daniel), Karen Carlton, Gary Jakielek (Linda) and Craig Jakielek (Lori); her grandchildren, Brent Davis (Holly), Brook Czerniak (Brian), Alyssa, Lane, Derek Jakielek and Camden Jakielek; and her sister Phyllis Haggard (John). She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson.
