He was predeceased by: his parents, George Smejkal and Edna Smejkal (Kleen). He is survived by: his wife Anna Smejkal (Fishburn); his siblings, George, Dorothy Smejkal, Judy Kane, Bob and Louise Antes; his stepchildren, Cyrena, Randy Christensen, Retha Martinez, Edward, Cheri Ramirez and Michael Ramirez; and his children, Rebecca Graham and Stephen Smejkal. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Smith Family Funeral Homes (1333 E Center St, Ithaca, MI 48847). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the New Haven Township Cemetery W Buchanan.
