It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elmer C. Freed of Sumner, Michigan, who passed away on November 18, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Freed and Anna Freed (Charter); his daughter Pamela Freed; his granddaughter Britt Freed; and his siblings, Lawrence, Alvin Freed, Josephine Blakeslee and LaVerne Barr.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Freed; his children, Lorraine Freed, Donald Freed and Darrell Freed (Denise); his siblings, Harry Freed (Betty), Burdell Burch, Zelma Parks and Lois Gittleman; and his close friends, Patty and Robert Geisenhaver. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.

Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Lincoln Road United Methodist Church.
