He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Charles and Mary Elizabeth Snyder (Dickinson); his spouse Shirley; and his brothers, Allen and Jim Snyder.
He is survived by: his sons, Dale Snyder, Jr. (Rita Corey), Bryan Snyder of Lansing, MI, David (Missy Snyder) and Bruce (Sherri Snyder); his grandchildren, Kayleigh Snyder, Blake Snyder, Olivia Snyder, Madi Snyder and Stephanie Snyder; his great grandchild Beckham Snyder; and his sisters, Betsy Patrick of St. Louis, MI and Kyle Snyder of Lansing, MI.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
