It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Louis Tacchella of Sturgis, Michigan, who passed away on December 7, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Tacchella and Carmen Tacchella (Rogers); and his wife Bette N. "Betsy" Brown. He is survived by: his children, Kim Hapner (John) of Syracuse, Laurie Tacchella of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Mike Tacchella (Katie) of Byron Center, Michigan; his grandchildren, Erika McGhee (Matt), Laura Davis (Taylor), Josh Hapner, Krista Hapner, Matt Hapner (Livia), Alex Bascom, Zac Bascom (Cassidy), Jacob Tacchella and Livy Tacchella; and his great grandchildren, Myra McGhee, Aidan McGhee, Leah McGhee, Esme Davis, Isla Davis, Anya Davis and Elliot Hapner.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Radiant Life Church (907 N Nottawa St, Sturgis, MI 49091). A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
