He is survived by: his wife Alice Diane West; his children, Michael T. Butz of Mendon and Michelle L. Hill of Sturgis; his grandchildren, Tiffany Salem (Jason) of Farmington and Nathen Hill (Sheila) of Chicago; his great grandchild Gavin Salem; and his siblings, Vicky Carpenter (James) of Bronson, Ann Humphries of Sturgis and Frank L. Butz of Sturgis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
