It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley J. Brew of Sturgis, Michigan, who passed away on March 16, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Shirley had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Shirley may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Erwin Stewart and Helen Stewart (Sprowl); her husband Dennis W. Brew; and her daughter Terry Gorbutt. She is survived by: her children, Butch Brew (Lorinda) of Millersburg, Mike Brew (Heather) of Sturgis and Jennifer Gage (Gary) of Sturgis; and her sister Sharon Wogoman of Syracuse Ind.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorial donations be directed to Thurston Woods Village.
