He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ranney and Madonna Ranney (Thurer); and his brothers, Roger Ranney and Chuck Ranney. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Jordan; his sons, Ronald Ranney, Jr. of Sturgis and Robert Ranney (Wendy) of Bronson; his grandchildren, Chris, Eric, Nathan, Kirsten, Ruger, Chazz and Deegan; his great grandchildren, Jadin, Joshua, Jayce, James and Bradley; and his brother Rick Ranney (Janet) of Churubusco. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
