She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore F. Urick and Cecilia Urick (Kulpinski); her husband Clifford Jay Carr; her grandson Christopher Bir; and her sister Mary Kathryn.

She is survived by: her daughters, Theresa M. Gage (Marvin) of Centreville, MI and Cynthia Bir (David) of Calabasas, CA; and her grandchildren, Kathryn Gage (Joseph McTarsney), Victoria Gage, Alexander Bir (Liona), Rebecca Bir and Rachel Bir.
