He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Bowen and Elizabeth Bowen (Gilhams); his son Jason Horning; and his nephew Ryan Murphy. He is survived by: his close friend Cherie Bowen of Sturgis; his children, Mark Bowen (Anne) of Sturgis, Jane Carrasco of Waterford and Kristi Sanderson of Portage; his grandchildren, Hannah, Andrew, Clayton, Zoe, Abi, Caleb, Ethan and Adi; and his brother Thomas Bowen of Vicksburg. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
