He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Bond and Gwen Bond (Willis); his son Brent John Bond; and his brother Mark Bond. He is survived by: his wife Diane M. Ickes of Sturgis; his children, Tammi Cartier of Hazel Park, J. T. Cartier (Hope) of Mendon, Shari Hyde (Matthew) of Arizona, Duane Shope (Tammy) of Warsaw and Jeffrey Shope Jr.; his grandchildren, Destiny Roediger, Raymond Roediger, Carter Cartier and Braylen Cartier; and his sister Karen Hathcock.
