She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Schimke and Lorraine Schimke (Christenson); and her husband David A. Erts. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Misner (Gary) of Lowell, MI, Matthew Erts (Tina) of Bear Lake, MI and Stephen Erts (Rheta) of Sturgis, MI; her grandchildren, Evan Erts (Sydnee Maxey), Rachel Dunsmore (Noah), Elise Misner (Ike Heeren), Kirstin Erts (Griffin Campbell) and Ansel Erts; and her great grandchild Eleanor "Ellie" Dunsmore.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Dutcher Funeral Home (440 W Chicago St, Coldwater, MI 49036). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Grove Cemetery.
