With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helma Kaye Gehlbach of Sturgis, Michigan, born in Lincoln, Illinois, who passed away on May 12, 2023 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Gehlbach and Rose Marie Gehlbach (Baughman); and her brother Robert "Bobby" Gehlbach. She is survived by: her husband Ron Rice; her sons, Daniel Boardman of Phoenix, Arizona and Clint Boardman of Phoenix, Arizona; her stepsons, Jeremy Rice (Julie) of El Paso and James Rice (Sarah) of Brooklyn; her stepgrandchildren, Maddie, Luther and Victoria; and her sister Rose Mary Murray (John) of Hoonah. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
