He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack W. Meek and Alma LaMoyne Meek (Piatt); his former wife Verda Gump; his wife Brenda Kay Gregory; his son-in-law Patrick Murphy; his great grandchild Olivia Morowski; and his siblings, Margaruette Subaran, Phillip Forrest Meek and Jack W. Meek.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela Murphy of Sturgis, George M. Meek (Tina) of Sturgis, Mark Meek (Julie) of Sturgis and Curtis Meek (Lori) of Bradenton, Florida; his grandchildren, Natalie Krebs (Andy), Colleen Morowski, Jeffrey Bennett (Jodie), Benson Meek (Amanda), Kaitlyn Meek (Jake Moran), Matthew Meek (Sarah), Andrew Meek (Britany), Alexis Meek (Andre) and Mark Tyler Meek (Emily); his stepgrandchildren, Matthew Miller (Sarah), Mark Miller (Laura) and Ryan Miller; and his siblings, Clova Self of Chelsea, Kay Moreno of Tucson, Arizona and Clinton Meek of Sturgis. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
