It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eugene Shears of Sturgis, Michigan, who passed away on November 11, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Shears and Anna Marie Shears (Winkleblack); and his brother Royce Dean Shears. He is survived by: his wife Janet Phillips; his children, Jennifer Miller (Michael) of Goshen, Indiana, Kevin Shears (Meredith Hill) of Sturgis and Jeffrey Shears of Battle Creek; his grandchildren, Ashley Shears of Houston, Jacob Shears of Centreville, Bradley Shears of Howe, Edward Shears of Howe and Gabriel Miller of Goshen, Indiana; and his sister-in-law Sharon Shears of Sturgis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
