He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Jones and Jean Jones (Short). He is survived by: his wife Sherrie Lynne Tennis; his children, Justina Jones (John Anding) of Sturgis and James Jones of Sturgis; his stepdaughters, Carrie Wesley of Kalamazoo, Holly Urick (Jon) of Mendon, Erin Holder of Centreville and Jamie Sobie (John) of Columbus, Ohio; his grandchildren, Mykel, James, Chauntaya, Makenzie, Jakyra, Mya, Christopher, Mason, Olivia, Chase, Myles and Sage; and his brothers, Monty Jones (Connie) of Fort Wayne and Rick Palmer (Michelle) of Sturgis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
