It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anita Louise Martin of Sturgis, Michigan, who passed away on June 23, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Anita Louise leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She is survived by: her parents, Tove Hanes and Duane Hanes of Kendallville, Indiana; her children, Matthew Martin (Courtney) of Sturgis, Nicholas Gunthorpe of LaGrange, Indiana and Bailey Martin-Harman (John) of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; her grandchildren, MacKenzie, Hayley of Pennsylvania and Grady of Sturgis; and her brother Mike Gerow of Texas.
