With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas L. Heeney of Stockbridge, Michigan, born in Jackson, Michigan, who passed away on July 2, 2023 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thomas L. Heeney to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawton Heeney and Marcelline Heeney (Beck); his son Joseph Heeney; his brothers, William Heeney and Gerald Heeney; and his siblings-in-law, Mike Mosson and Karen Heeney.
He is survived by: his wife Judy A. (Pahl); his children, Caroline Ransom of Stockbridge, Roseanne Adams (Jeff) of Pinckney, Barbara Webb of Stockbridge, Tommie Heeney (Shawn) of Munith and Mark Heeney (Mary) of Orlando, FL; his siblings, Pat Heeney of Stockbridge, Mary Ellen Mosson of Jackson and Ann Jackson (Willis) of Stockbridge; and his sisters-in-law, Gloria Heeney of Stockbridge and Juanita Heeney of Stockbridge. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family would like contributions to be made to the Joe Heeney Scholarship c/o Stockbridge Community Schools.
