He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold Ward and Arlene Ward (Schnetzler); his wife Phyllis Wilde Ward; his sisters, Joan Bumpus and Mary Curtis; and his children, Doug (Barbel), Daniel (Robin), Lisa Seiferth (Kurt) and Terry (Sherry). He was also cherished by ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
