He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Story and Orla Story (Hosbein); his wife Norma Fisher; his son Phillip Story; and his siblings, Dorothy, Harold, Don, Richard and Robert.
He is survived by: his children, James Goetting (Wanda), Joseph Story (Donna), Patrick Story (Gay), William Story, Jr. (Dee Dee), Timothy Story (Colleen), Christine Sheffield, Kevin Story, John Story (Linda), Daniel Story, Theresa Hovenstine (Doug), Donald Story (Lisa) and Brian Story (Angela). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
