He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Krause and Olive Krause (Shinn) of Benton Harbor, Michigan.; his siblings, Warren, Carl, Fred, Don Krause, Lillian Krause, Gladys Boyd and Violet; and his daughter-in-law Mary Beth Krause.
He is survived by: his wife Lavonne E. Krause (Brant); his son William Krause Jr. of Bridgman, Michigan; and his goddaughter Jennifer Soltesz.
