He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bailey and Nora Bailey (Renfrow); his wife Barbara Bailey; his son Tim Bailey; and his siblings, Verda Harris, Bertha Ward, Frances Parritt, Roscoe Bailey, Mirta Francis, Charles Bailey, William H. Bailey and Dorothy McClain.

He is survived by: his children, Christina Polando (Tom), Victoria Crippin, Greg Bailey, Karen Jordan and Ken Bailey (Andrea). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
