She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Sweeney and Lillian Sweeney (Hodgson); and her husband Gerald. She is survived by: her children, David LaPlaca (Tim Irwin) and Denise Miceli (Anthony); her grandchildren, Jonathan, Joseph, Anthony and Grace Miceli; and her sister Sherry Lawrence.
In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association.
