She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Gatje and Erna Gatje; and her brother Robert F. Gatje. She is survived by: her children, Diana Simaz (John) of Trout Lake, MI and Dan Smith (Rosemarie) of Fort Wayne, IN; her granddaughters, Katie Butts (Jared), Jennifer Fuller (Jesse), Erin Messman (Dustin) and Robin Smith; and her great grandchild Harper Butts. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
