She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Niederriter and Alice Niederriter (Lauer); her husband Cyril Steiner; and her siblings, Rose Smith, Marlene Hamel, Donna Budzinski, John, James and Ronald Niederriter.
She is survived by: her children, Christina Glennie (Christopher) of Prestwood, England and Curt Steiner (Lori) of Naperville; and her grandchildren, Lucinda, Max Glennie, Meredith, Abigail Steiner, Richard Niederriter of Venus, Randy Niederriter of Lickingville, Kathleen Strotman of Marble and Marie Ditz of Hermitage.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Southwest Michigan, as Mariann fed a lot of stray cats over the years.
