He was predeceased by: his brother Bret Ahrens. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia; his sons, Jeff (Anne) and Steve (Claire); his grandchildren, Andrew, Catherine and Stephanie; and his brothers, Bruce Ahrens of Stevensville, MI, Judd Ahrens (Kay) of Lynchburg, Rex Ahrens (Jane) of Spencerport, N. Y. and Mark Ahrens (Pam) of Hornell. He is also survived by children, and grandchildren.
