She is survived by: her husband Matt Gacek; her children, Meredith Gacek of Stevensville and Grant Gacek of Stevensville; her parents, Thomas Umbaugh and Judith Umbaugh (Tober) of Bremen, IN; her siblings, Kimberly Snyder of South Bend and Jason Snyder (Angie) of South Bend; her nieces, Alexa Snyder of Chicago and Ellie Snyder of South Bend; her parents-in-law, Bruno and Barbara Gacek of LaGrange Park, IL; and her siblings-in-law, Bruno Gacek (Lisa) of West Aurora, IL, Michael Gacek (Nancy) of Western Springs, IL and Lori Hardy (Bruce) of Graniteville, SC. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Starks & Menchinger Chapel (2650 Niles Rd, St Joseph, MI 49085). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saron Lutheran Church (510 Main St, St Joseph, MI 49085).
