It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Rufus Harding (Stevensville, Michigan), who passed away on December 9, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Harding and Christine Harding (Ward); his wife Pat; his siblings, Billy Joe, Howard, John, Ronnie Dale and Carolyn Fay; and his grandsons, Tyler Harding and Josh Martin.
He is survived by: his children, Allen Harding, Kim Harding, Melissa Gibson, Angela Martin (John), Kerri (Doug) and Vail Harding (Jackie); his grandchildren, Mariko Moersch (Matt), Lexi Harding, Stephanie Poplawski, Joely Gibson, Lily Martin, Madelynn, Grace, Connor Harding and Cameron Harding; his great grandchildren, Sierra, Sinceria, Milo and Wesley; and his sister Louise McLean. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pike Funeral and Cremation Services. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church - South (5353 S Roosevelt Rd, Stevensville, MI 49127).
