She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Zuppke and Marie Zuppke; her husband Gerald J. Schaefer; her brothers, Ted and Tom; and her granddaughter Sonja Krieger.
She is survived by: her former husband Melvin E. Krieger; her son Freddy (Linda Krieger); her granddaughter Laura; her sister Marilyn Kubath (late Tom); her grandchildren, Hans, Liesel, Hunter and Gretchen; her daughter Laura Wagemaker (late Lester); and her grandchildren, Rachelle, Nathaniel and Timothy. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
