It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Cox of Stevensville, Michigan, born in Benton Harbor, Michigan, who passed away on June 4, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Kirby and Julia Kirby (Thiede); her husband Charles "Boone" Cox (James); and her siblings, Charles, Thomas, Kenneth Kirby, Eleanor Dyer and Betty Cassidy.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Palazzolo (Kari) of Eau Claire, Mary Anne Mabry (Mark) of Stevensville, Becky Young (Kevin) of Stevensville and Nancy Mason (Mark) of St. Joseph; her sister-in-law Carla Kirby of St. Joseph; her nephew James; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Rhonda, Jeff Young of Watervliet, Kim Dilts of Stevensville and Brenda Weatherly of Chicago; and her friend Ari Chaffin. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations in Irene's name may be made to Caring Circle Hospice.
