He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Zimmerman and Jane Zimmerman. He is survived by: his children, Bret Zimmerman (Corrine) of Gross Pointe, MI, Wade Zimmerman (Caroline) of Arvada, CO, Lindsay Hunsberger (Josh) of Niles, Ryan Hudson (Jessica) of South Bend and Camille Lukasewski (Drew); his grandchildren, Alexandria, Wesley, Tristan, Ally, David and Claire; and his siblings, Carol Anderson (James), Dale Zimmerman (Joyce) and Frances Taitt.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Elks Major Projects or University of Michigan Medicine Development.
