With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gilbert Ruttenberg of Stevensville, Michigan, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on May 11, 2021 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nate Ruttenberg and Jenny Ruttenberg; his cousins, Fred and Bruce Ruttenberg; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Lindas and Barbara Ruttenberg.
He is survived by: his wife Valerie Lindas; his stepdaughters, Laura Hall (Ted) and Julie Williams; his grandchildren, Jason Merkling, Valerie Merkling, Alex Lyles, Joshua Liberty, Tyler Liberty, Mathew Williams, Steven Williams and Daniel Meadows; his friend Herman Martin Ruttenberg; and his sister-in-law Linda Lindas of Lake Villa, IL.. He is also survived by cousins and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Caring Circle Hospice or the Stevensville United Methodist Church.
