It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald K Moely of Stevensville, Michigan, born in Madison, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 23, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Eloise Moely (Ellie); his son Michael Moely (Laura); his close friend Eloise; his grandson Matthew Moely; his sister-in-law Marie Moely; his cousin Virginia Moely; his nieces and nephews, Christine Steinert (Robert), Laura Thomas (Richard), Greg Moely (Joan) and Todd Moely; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Steven Steinert (Julie), Stephanie Reuter (Ben), Jillian, Michael S. Moely, Rowan and Carys Thomas.

Memorial contributions towards a St Joseph Municipal Band plaque honoring his 35 years of making music with the band for the city of St Joseph audiences listening enjoyment will be accepted by the City of St Joseph.
