He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav Fechner and Pauline Fechner (Roy); his son Chad Fechner; and his brother Gerald Fechner. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Fechner (Stedman); his children, Todd Fechner (Kelley) of Eau Claire, Adam Fechner of St. Joseph, Sara Logan (Shane) of Midland and Martine Stedman of Potterville; his grandchildren, Evan Logan and Claire Fechner; his brothers, Harvey Sievert of St. Joseph and Steven Fechner of Stevensville; and his sister-in-law Carol Fechner of Deltona, Florida..
