He was predeceased by: his parents, Marguerite "Anne" Hayward and Robert Hayward, Sr.; his stepmother Marion Hayward; his sister Judy Nash; and also Gene Andreozzi.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Hayward (Perlaki); his grandchildren, Carrie Lohrmann (Martin), Hilde, Jonah and Theo; his children, Brian Hayward (Melissa), Amelia, Micah, Jason Hayward (Shannon), Hannah Holland (Earl) and Eliana Hayward; and his siblings, Richard Hayward, Susan Butler (John), Connie LaHousse, Gregg Hayward (Deb) and Randy Hayward (Penny).
In 2018, Bob moved to assisted living, then home during the pandemic, and eventually to Woodland Terrace in Bridgman.
For a more lasting memory, donations in Bob's name can be made out to the Benton Harbor Salvation Army or Caring Circle Hospice (Lakeland/Corewell Health).
