He was predeceased by: his parents, Porfirio Alcala and Lizzy Alcala (Tatum); and his brother John Alcala. He is survived by: his wife Lauren; his stepchildren, Jessica Paustian (Arden) and Joshua Metz; and his sister Sheila McCoy (Greg). He is also survived by six grandchildren.
