As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Yako may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He is survived by: his wife Bushra; his children, Manuel and Maryteres; and his siblings, Dankha, Warina, Mariam and Amel. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Chaldean Catholic Church (2442 E Big Beaver Rd, Troy, MI 48083). A committal service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery (621 W Long Lake Rd, Troy, MI 48098). A vigil service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sahara Restaurant & Banquet Center (2390 Metro Pkwy, Sterling Heights, MI 48310).
