With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Walter Richards Elliott Sr. of Sterling Heights, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 15, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Margaret Monroe (late Don) and Raymond Elliott; and his mother Georgia Elliott. He is survived by: his wife Dolores; his children, Carol Poterek (Dave), Elizabeth Christina (Rich) and Walter Jr. Elliott (Marilyn); his grandchildren, Paul Maiorana (Julie), Laura Maiorana (Colby), John Christina, Michael Christina, Ethan Elliott and Erin Elliott; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Austin, Isaac Maiorana, Abraham and Caroline Maiorana; and his siblings, Katie Palmer (late Keith), Mary Elizabeth Bole (late Richard) and William Elliott (Beverly).

In lieu of flowers donations are welcome to the Retired Detroit Police and Firefighters Association.
