Goldwater and Catherine Marie Goldwater; his wife Cheryl; his brothers, John Jr. (Shari) and James Goldwater; and his stepchildren, Steven (Julia Cochenour), Kristin (Brad DeSantis) and Kelly Ratobylski (Anthony Sodini). He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved friends.
