We bid farewell to Thelma Rose Herd of Sterling Heights, Michigan, born in Silver Point, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 14, 2024 at the age of 90. Thelma Rose touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Hammock and Alice Hammock; her spouse Oneil Herd; and her siblings, Ellen Crawford, Shirley Kirby, Bob Hammock and Jim Hammock.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Herd (Elizabeth), Karen Katko, Kerry Herd (Cissy) and Darren Herd (Michele); her grandchildren, Ryan Herd, Rachel Herd, Matthew Herd (Tori), Jessica Herd, Emily Herd, Tyler Herd (Heather) and Tori Herd; and her sisters, Juanita Crawford and Liz Hammock. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
