He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Susan Japar and Romeo Japar; his wife Teresa Martusiewicz-Japar; his sons, Mark Japar (Shuang) and Adam Japar (Madeline); his grandchildren, Amia and Emerson Japar; and his sister Susan Japar-Coffman (William).

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
