Sharon Lutz Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon Lutz of Sterling Heights, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 18, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Hicks and Lylia Hicks; her friend Tom; her children, Michael Lutz (Michelle), Glen Lutz (Kelly), Julie Anderson (Sean) and Jill Lutz; and her grandchildren, Griffin Lutz, Nathan Lutz (Lilly), Shelby Anderson, Alex Lutz, Lauren Lutz and Harper Anderson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mandziuk & Son Funeral Directors, Inc. - Sterling Heights (3801 18 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48314). The lying in state was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the St. Rene Goupil Catholic Church (35955 Ryan Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48310). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Resurrection Cemetery (18201 Clinton River Rd, Clinton Twp, MI 48038).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Ferndale Cat Shelter https://ferndalecatshelter.org, an organization Sharon felt strongly about due to her love of animals and the two family cats that stayed by her side throughout her illness.
