We are sad to announce that on May 9, 2024, at the age of 73, Salwa N. Marei of Sterling Heights, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Nabil; her children, Raymond Marei (Kathryn), Mary Shaway (Mike) and Monica Athanas (John); her grandchildren, Angelina, Benjamin, Isaac, Julian, Lola, Michael, Nikolaos and Chloe; and her siblings, Nelly Malek, Doss Ayad and Teresa Yousef.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made directly to Our Lady of Redemption Melkite Catholic Church.
