He was predeceased by: his wife Christine; his brother Robert Miller; and his stepbrother Gil Waitkus. He is survived by: his children, Kim Kapanowski (Phil), Shelly White (Dave) and Richard VanOordt (late Becky); his grandchildren, Ryan, Aaron, Kevin Kapanowski, Garrett (Elizabeth), Alexa, Logan White (Abbie), Mitchel and Isaiah VanOordt; his great grandchild Aubrey White; and his stepsister Evelyn Gibbons. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 9:30 AM and at 10:00 AM at the St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church (48115 Schoenherr Rd, Shelby Twp, MI 48315).
