It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Rogatski-Leggieri of Sterling Heights, Michigan, who passed away on April 30, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Rita may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Joseph Leggieri; her children, John Rogatski (Elizabeth) and Renae Leggieri (Gregory); her grandchildren, Jacquelyn Leggieri, Rachel Placek (Justin), Nicholas Leggieri (Laura) and Kathryn Leggieri (Olu); her great grandchild Alexander; and her siblings, Pauline Gennette and John Antonelli.
In lieu of flowers donations are welcome to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
